Exclusive: Danish firm raises €4bn for largest greenfield renewables fund globally

In merely five months, despite the Covid-19 pandemic, Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) raised €4bn in commitments to their greenfield renewable energy fund, on track to reach the target (€5.5bn-7bn) over the coming months.

CIP’s Copenhagen Infrastructure IV (CI IV) has successfully raised €4bn in commitments from several institutional investors across the Nordics, Continental Europe, the UK, Israel, Taiwan, Japan and Australia.
