Global dividends set to fall as Covid-19 erodes profits

Global dividends are forecasted to fall by 15% to 35% in 2020, according to Janus Henderson Global Dividend Index.
The pandemic had almost no impact on the Q1 dividends, which rose 3.6% to a Q1 record of $275.4bn. The US and Canada both saw all-time quarterly records, while Japan, Hong Kong and Russia broke Q1 records.
