US, UK get tough on companies' board racial diversity disclosures

In the US and the UK, several efforts are underway to bolster a racially diverse board - from asset managers, pension funds and investors threatening to vote against non-diverse boards at AGMs to Nasdaq's proposed rule change of mandating public companies to divulge this data and re-looking at the Parker Review targets for FTSE 100 firms four years after the initial report was published

On 1 December 2020, Nasdaq filed a proposal with the U. S.
