The proportion of institutional investors who are sceptical of sustainable investment has dropped by almost 50% in three years, while climate change has become investors’ main focus of engagement, according to the Schroders Institutional Investor Study 2019 survey (*)

The proportion of investors worldwide who don’t believe in sustainable investment has fallen from 20% in 2017 to 11% this year. This is particularly true in Latin America, where the percentage of sceptics has dropped from 29% in 2017 to 12%.
