European funds see slow inflows in August
In August, Ucits recorded net inflows of €25bn (€109bn in July), while long-term Ucits (excluding money market funds) recorded net inflows of €37bn (down from €50bn in July), according to latest data from European Fund and Asset Management Association (Efama).
Equity funds recorded the same level of net sales as in July (€13bn) while net sales of bond funds stood at €20bn (down from €22bn in July). Multi-asset funds recorded net inflows of €2bn (€13bn in July).
Ucits money market funds recorded net outflows of €12bn (compared to €59bn in July and a total of €195bn from April-July).
AIFs recorded net inflows of €5bn (a fall from €15bn in July). In August, total net assets of Ucits and AIFs increased by 1.6% to €17,638bn.
