Italian funds outflows persist but abate in May
Open-ended funds marketed in Italy saw net outflows of €2.3bn in May after the €3.2bn recorded in April, according to latest statistics from Assogestioni, the Italian association of asset management professionals.

Since the beginning of the year, Italian funds have recorded outflows of nearly €6bn. The market trends reveal that Italian investors abandoned equity funds (-€2.7bn) and flexible funds (-€2bn) in May.
