Confluence acquires asset management data service provider

US investment data management company Confluence has purchased StatPro.

Confluence has fully acquired StatPro for £161.1m (€186.9m) in a bid to establish the leading provider of front, middle and back-office solutions to asset management companies and administrators. 

StatPro, tallying 10 offices worldwide and servicing over 450 clients in 37 countries, is split in three divisions : Revolution (portfolio analytics solutions), Source: StatPro (maket data) and Infovest (data management solutions for asset managers).

Mark Evans, Confluence founder and CEO commented, “By acquiring StatPro, we will accelerate our plans to migrate Confluence’s performance solutions into the cloud, and continue both organisations’ history of creating truly innovative, transformative products that our industry has come to value.” Through StatPro's purchase, Confluence will also expand its market presence in the United Kingdom, continental Europe, Asia and South Africa.
