German banks may stock and sell crypto-assets as early as January

The German Parliament has passed legislation on crypto-assets, part of the transposition of the fourth anti-money laundering directive.

Effective 1 January, German banks will be able to receive, store and sell digital assets, such as bitcoin and Ethereum.
