German fintech Raisin eyes US market entry

Thanks to Goldman Sachs Investment of €25m, German deposit marketplace Raisin will use these funds to launch its services in the $12,700 bn savings market in the US in 2020.

Raisin, a Berlin-based open banking fintech, was founded in 2012 in the basement of COO Michael Stephan’s grandmother’s house, along with two other co-founders: Dr. Tamaz Georgadze (CEO), Dr. Frank Freund (CFO).
